Days 19 & 20 - June 16-17, 2012

... again i will reiterate the need to do what you body is capable of,.. not necessarily what you have then energy for.. lol... my back feels a bit better, but not yet up to physical activity... or sitting at the computer for that matter..... so, needless to say i have been remiss in blogging..... but i will catch you up to what we did this weekend.

Saturday morning,, my husband weighed and measured.. it's his day 11, so finished the Cleanse, and he has , so far, lost 9 pounds and 6 inches total... yay!!!!!  i am so proud of him....... he said later in the day that this is the first time he has felt healthy i a long time... the fiber drinks through the Cleanse really made him feel blah.. but on day 11, no more fiber drink, and he is starting to feel the change in him.i also weighed myself and looks like i have lost another 4 pounds... and that is without exercising at all, since i hurt my back working on the stairs last weekend....

started the day as i normally do by taking the 1st packet.. showering and then the 2nd and 3rd packts with breakfast.. today it was a chocolate shake.. i really do love these things.... lol

we had a patient appreciation event to go to at lunch time, so we took our 4th packets on the way... got adjusted and then helped ourselves to some Hudson's BBQ...... now here is where it got interesting... if you have never heard of Hudsons, it's awesome.. they have pulled pork bbq, hash, rice, mac and cheese that is to die for, fried chicken... i could go on and on.... best part is it is a buffet... so you can have as much as you want.... in the past we would go there and eat ourselves into a stupor.. had to make sure we got our moneys worth... probably had 2 or 3 platefulls each........
but today?  we each got one plate... not even full plates.... rice and pulled pork, with a lot less sauce than usual, and i got a bit of hash and mac and cheese... i did not even have any of the mac and cheese, i fed all of it to my daughter.... and the best part is, i didn't really want it, mainly because i knew it wasn't the best thing for me to have right now, and i was completely satisfied by the pulled pork and the rice.....  even better is that neither of us felt the need to pile our plates high, or go back for seconds... once we were full, we stopped eating.
THAT is what i love about this plan......

had a snack of an apple at around 4pm...
and then around 7 we had leftovers of the peach burgers i'd made the night before... cut up some potatoes for homefries and greenbeans to go with it... yum! and of course had a couple of the Omegaplex... that is completely habit now... and have i mentioned how much nicer my complexion is and how lighter my hair feels since taking it?.. i love the effects of this stuff :)

i had an evening snack of grapes around 10pm.......
but i was a bad girl and didn't go to bed until around 3am... i tell ya.. i felt the hunger pains... but i was good and did not snack on junk as i would have in the past... i went to sleep instead.

Sunday:
woke up around 7am with excruciating pain in my back.. could barely get out of bed..... my husband got me an icepack and i was able to go back to sleep.
didn't wake up again until around 1130.... took the 1st packet then... and then made some eggs and more homefries for breakfast.... along with the 2nd and 3rd packets....

had a snack of an apple around 3pm while i gave my daughter a bath.....

i had a Spark and the 4th packet on the way to meet my coach and his family, who were passing thru town on their vacation, for dinner at Fatz... i was in so much pain, i needed the boost that the Spark would give me.. and i am glad i did.... it really is easier to deal with tender muscles when you have the energy to move faster, so it doesn't hurt as long........
at Fatz,i had the Aloha Chicken and a side salad with the sun dried tomato dressing.... it. was. awesome!

9pm, had my evening snack of double chocolate snack bar.... it was ok.. i am not a big fan of chocolate, so was too much for me.. i prefer the oat/bran type of snack bars personally... now i know.

i think bedtime will be late tonight too since i slept so late today, but we shall see....
only 4 more days of my 24 day challenge, and i am hoping my back pain will cease enough to let me start exercising again..... i have the eating habits in hand... now i just need to get my body in the habit of exercising regularly......
